Trim Levels

You'll have plenty of options when choosing the perfect Ford Escape. Four trim levels are available, and some of them can be equipped as either hybrid or plug-in hybrid variants. In fact, for 2021, both the mid-level SE and SEL trims are available as hybrids, and the highest-level Titanium trim comes standard with a hybrid powertrain. So, only the base S model won't be available as a hybrid. Another addition for 2021 models is the availability of a hands-free power liftgate that makes loading and unloading cargo hassle-free. You can also opt for LED exterior lighting and 19-inch wheels.

Engine

For those who like the feel of a gas-powered engine, you can choose from the 181-horsepower, 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbo or the 250-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo. Both of these engines provide exceptional acceleration and are paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. If you prefer the efficiency of a hybrid powertrain, you can get the Escape as either a standard or a plug-in hybrid. Performance

It comes equipped with front-wheel drive, but for better grip in slippery or wet conditions, upgrade to available all-wheel drive. If you plan to use your Escape for towing, go with the Titanium model equipped with the Class II Trailer Tow Package. This will give you the ability to tow up to 3,500 pounds with your Escape.

Interior

Get behind the wheel of the newest Escape and find yourself surrounded in comforts and conveniences.
